CASology Week 46 - "Furry"

I try to go outside the box in the CAS challenges and not do the obvious.  Every time, repeat every time, I thought of a stamp I found I no longer had it because if had been sold at the craft store garage sale.  Twice I started a card but they were not right.  Off to the craft store and in a cardboard box on the sidewalk were "lovingly used stamps" and I found this stamp ($2).  Is it furry or fuzzy?  Don't know but I love the stamp.  The image was stamped and heat embossed, then colored with copics.

I stamped two images so I decided to go with color and this card will be donated to Cards for Hospitalized Kids.  

MUSE Challenge #19

This is my first entry in a  MUSE Challenge.  I die cut my colored image in a similar shape as the muse card, additionally I used soft colors on my leaves and flowers.
I randomly stamped on a piece of Neenah paper stamps from the Our Craft Lounge set Pretty Petals.  The coloring was done with copics.  I used pink pirouette paper to help show off the white in both the card base and the white on the stamped image.
Verbiage was an old stamp without a manufacturer.

Note:  The paper colors represent the seven colors in the rainbow.  Each 1 1/4" circle was punched and then I heat embossed the letters.  The letters spell out happy bday.

Less is More Week 121 Recipe HUMOUR

This card was made for Less is More challenge humour.
I have had this verbiage for a long time and found it at a rubber stamp show.  There were bins of red rubber images and one had to look at the stamp with a mirror to see what the stamp read.  This is my first time using the verbiage.
The stamped image is Art Impressions and I love the combination of the two stamps.  Years ago when I use to do decorative painting I made a sign that said, "mirror, mirror on the wall I am becoming my mother after all."  So I am glad I could combine these two stamps and come up with a card I find humorous.  The frazzled woman was colored with copics.

CASology Week 45 ROYAL

Royal - crown, don't have one.  Purple?  Purple rose?  I looked at a rose book I had purchased at a garage sale for $1 and looking for a purple rose I came across the Queen Elizabeth Rose.  So this is my take on the Queen Elizabeth rose which was one of the most popular roses of the twentieth century.  To add to the touch of royalty I used Sizzix Diamonds embossing folder.

The verbiage is SU! Serene Spring which was heat embossed.  

The rose stamp I no longer have I found it in a "lovingly used" bin at my local craft store.  Fortunately for me I had stamped some images before I sold it at a garage sale.  The rose was colored with copics R81, R83, R85 and fussy cut and I used pop ups.  So here you have my take on the word "royal" a Queen Elizabeth rose.

CASology - Week 44 BLOOM

"It doesn't pay to hurry", and you can quote me.  Over a week of struggling with bronchitis and I know where none of my "things" are.  So here is a card I made recently which I am going to submit to this challenge.  This was my first time using bleach and although I have room for improvement I really love the effect.  The stamp (I cannot find it to give credit) was stamped in black pigment ink and then heat embossed.  I used household bleach and a paint brush to apply within the lines of the image.  Supplies were SU! kraft paper, black and SU! designer paper, black grosgrain ribbon and punch.  The verbiage is MFT.  The image has been popped up.
