Spring 2017 Coffee Lover's Blog Hop

The coffee cup was stamped, heat embossed and die cut and I stamped the heart again and did the same. This piece was mounted onto a piece of SU crumb cake cs and then I stamped the sentiment. Using VersaMark I randomly stamped hearts from the same set as the sentiment.

Spring 2017 Coffee Lovers Blog Hop

For this  card I chose this adorable kitty stamp from Penny Black and some colorful paper from Gina K. I stamped, heat emblossed and colored with Copics. I also heat embossed the sentiment. The image was die cut with a Sugar Pea die. I attached all the pieces and placed the green SU cs at an angle.

2017 Spring Coffee Lovers Blog Hop

I taught a class on stamping with embossing folders on Friday and this is one of the pieces I made. This is also one of my favorite layouts which works really well with this type of background paper. The stencil I borrowed so name unknown. After trimming this piece I stamped and heat embossed the tea pots. This is a very old SU! stamp from 1996 and I took the liberty of trimming it as it was too long to fit on the paper. I used a touch of marker pen on the flowers which were the same SU! colors used on the stamped decorator piece. I mounted this onto SU! rose red cs. The piece was attached to the base card and this paper is also SU! and it is no longer available but it is cool paper this is an off white and it has specks of color in it. Lastly I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment which is from Inky Antics.

2017 Spring Coffee Lovers Blog Hop

I began my stamping and heat embossing the image and then stamped and heat embossed it again on patterned paper. The cup was fussy cut and glued over the image. Then I die cut the black cs and mounted the image. The yellow embossed paper was die cut and all pieces were attached to the black check paper.

2017 Spring Coffee Lovers Blog Hop

My first card for the current Spring Coffee Lovers Blog Hop. I die cut the coffee cup components,  assembled them and attached to a piece of craft foam. The tea bag tag is from tea I brought back from France. I sponged the wet tea bag onto the base card and stamped the sentiment.

CAS Watercolour Challenge - March 2017 "Spring"

Happy St. Patrick's Day

This stamp is from Stampendous and first I smooshed some distress ink on the watercolor cardstock. When dry I stamped and began watercoloring with distress inks. I added a tiny touch of wink of stella in the yellow center. The sentiment from PTI was stamped with VersaFine.

Seize the Birthday - "Anything Goes"

Several years ago my husband and two sons were involved in the YMCA program Indian Guides. They had many happy times camping and being with friends. Their names were Big Otter, Little Otter and Fast Otter. This cute image from Lawn Fawn makes me think of my three guys. Big Otter has a big birthday next month so he may receive this card.

I used three different dies from three different sets and the Otter I fussy cut. Snippets of paper were used to create this cute image and a touch of Copic was used on the package ribbon.
