My first entry for another card challenge, today Freshly Made Sketches #70. I am still trying to comprehend the notes I made yesterday.

I decided to post my card poster board which is on display at Gee Gee's. The colors for this class are noted and if you will be taking this class please bring any of these copics if you have them. Just to let you know I am trying to figure out how to post on my blog all by myself. It is going to take the better part of the day to get this done as I am writing "how to" notes and I keep making changes. As you can see I have begun to submit cards to CASology. Anyone who knows me knows what I love to do most in card-making is coloring and I start my day coloring before coffee. Usually I have two hours before the mister and Ginger, our love-to-chew puppy get up. That being said I decided to try CAS as a challenge to myself. In their challenges one can do some layering, which I like to do, as well as a pop-ups. I do not do many embellishments unless they are card stock because my cards are meant to be mailed. In any given month I make between 40-50 cards which I mail to friends and the remainder go to Operation Write Home. In the past month I have begun to donate to Cards For Hospitalized Kids and CCC, which is for cancer patients. So that is why I have begun to attempt CAS cards. Actually I really like the one for this week titled "drink." This was a new technique which I saw on a blog. Last week a couple of the cards I forwarded to OWH had some images I had colored a few years ago and they were not done with copics but with watercolor pencils. Now I will attempt to publish this. Adios from raining North County, San Diego.
